West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Dept. is trying to solve inundation in Cengkareng Sub-district, especially on Jalan Raya Kapuk and Jalan Taman Palem.

West Jakarta SDA Sub-dept. Head, Imron said his side cooperates with North Jakarta SDA Sub-dept. to handle inundation on Jalan Raya Kapuk.
"We handle dredging on south side of Jalan Kapuk Raya and North Jakarta SDA handle the north side," he said, Thursday (11/16).
Anticipating Inundation, 26 Pump Cars Alerted in South JakartaBesides dredging, his side also operates two water pumps, Kampung Apung Pump and Kapuk I Pump, to suck inundation on Jalan Raya Kapuk.
"One water pump has been operated on Jalan Raya Kapuk which included in North Jakarta area," he said.
His side and Jakarta SDA Dept. are reviewing inundation problem in front of Aston Hotel, Jalan Taman Palem, Cengkareng Timur.
Inundation handling in the field is hampered by missing connecting channels due to illegal building.
"We also ask sub-district and urban village sides to return the missing channels thus water from Taman Palem can be sucked optimally by Perum Perumnas Pump House," he uttered.
